Great things are happening at River Pointe Golf Club, the fastest growing golf club in South Georgia. River Pointe is a semi-private 18 hole golf course, located on the historic Flint River and lake Chehaw in Albany Georgia. The course was designed and built in 1995 by renowned golf course architect Mike Young. This challenging course has been recognized by Atlanta Golf Magazine as one of the top courses to play and was voted 2008, 2009 and 2010 "BEST OF THE BEST" golf course in the Albany area. River Pointe's teaching professional Sonny Skinner was awarded National PGA Professional Player of the Year at the 2009 PGA convention in Orlando Florida. Come see our Head Golf Pro Buster Clark or Teaching Pro Sonny Skinner for a private golf session and don't forget to browse our pro-shop for the best prices on a wide selection of golf merchandise. Our beautiful club has become a community center for the Albany area where people come together for charitable events, weddings and celebrations of all sorts.
